AEG - Energy Assessment

In most situations, an energy assessment or audit is a conditional requirement to receiving any incentive or tax rebate.  The audit is a detailed study that outlines the planned improvements and calculated energy savings.  The cost of AEG's study is typically covered by various utility programs that are discussed up front with the owner prior to the start any work.  The audits typically includes:

    ▪  Energy Star assistance or Energy User Index (EUI) ratings
    ▪  Options to review lighting, solar, and other sustainable areas
    ▪  Energy efficiency project identification measures
    ▪  Costs of implementation along with payback options

Once
an audit is been completed by AEG, a report is shared with the owner first before any incentives are applied for, allowing the owner the opportunity to comment and/or make changes to the scope before the incentive calculations are completed.
