AEG - Commissioning

Commissioning a building is an essential part to any project whether it is a small renovation or a large improvement.  When changes or new equipment are added or modified to a building or facility, commissioning verifies that the systems will operate and function, as designed by the Mechanical Engineer.

AEG works directly with the owner under an Integrated Design Process prior to the architect and engineers participation.  The Commissioning Agent is a third party service often appointed by the owner who helps determine the project requirements, ensuring that the design intent and system support tie back into the original Owners Project Requirements, including all necessary testing and verification reports.

It is critical for the owner to keep this information as they may be required to retro-commission the system in future years and this information as it will provide the owner baseline comparisons.
